Privacy Policy

• Order information — your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number if you give one, and the items you buy. We need this to fulfil and support your order.
• Account information — if you create an account, your name, email address and password. We store the password only in hashed form. Orders you place while signed in are linked to your account.
• Payment information — collected directly by our payment processor, TagadaPay, at checkout. Card details are encrypted in your browser and sent straight to the processor. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded, the card brand and last four digits, and the processor’s reference numbers for you and your card; we never receive or store your full card number. To help prevent fraud, your IP address and browser details are passed to the processor with the payment.
• Messages you send us — if you email research@veritybiolab.com, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you and handle any return or claim.
• Your cart and sign-in— we set a cookie that keeps your cart between visits and, if you sign in, a cookie that keeps you signed in. The cart’s contents are stored on our servers, linked to that cookie.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

• To process, ship and support your orders, including sending order confirmations and receipts.
• To run your account, including sign-in and password resets.
• To handle returns and refunds.
• To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
• To answer questions you send us.

We only send marketing email if you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link.

Only with service providers who need it to run the store and deliver your order: our payment processor, TagadaPay (to take payment and screen for fraud), shipping carriers (to deliver the package), our email provider (to send receipts and account emails), and the companies that host this site and its database. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights and customers.

Order records are kept for as long as needed for returns, refunds and tax and accounting requirements, generally seven years. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to support you.

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled by a PCI-compliant processor and never touch our systems. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. To make a request, email research@veritybiolab.com from the address on your order or account.

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Orders must be placed by an adult aged 18 or older.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
